A new year is around the bend, and while thinking of years past craft ideas I decided that this coming year in 2016, all crafts will be the old stragglers that kept getting put aside for something else. Old piles of fabric and boxes of supplies that never get used are about to find a new life. I started cutting fabric for a new quilt, the theme is vintage campers and I really am starting to enjoy it. No more putting away for tomorrow, it is time to bring it to the table and get it done. Wishing you the most joyous and happy New Year filled with love and happiness in crafting.
My garden trend for 2016 is fairy gardens. Start collecting those special trinkets and items to build that special place in the spring. So excited to do this, as I have set it aside for 3 years. Next on the list, a homemade toddler kitchen, followed by some felt food and felt crafts and then for the big home project, doing something constructive with my bay window in my room while adding a touch of shabby chic and some new organization ideas. I have got to find a place for all of this stuff! What are your new craft and home goals for 2016? Share your blog or ideas here in the comments if you would like, I love sharing!
This tutorial actually dates back to 2010 and was featured on Ana White's website. A blogger wrote this DIY for her and this play kitchen is beautiful! Thank you to my friend Cassandra for sharing. I am most excited about those little ruffle curtains.
The link above is Kirsten's full tutorial, here are some snippets of her work, lovely!!!!
