I have always loved paint stick crafts and this one is perfect for a basket. Children are so drawn to the collection and on a rainy day its a perfect time to get out the unpainted sticks and add some new, even adding the date and name of the child on the back, someday they may look back with their own children at their handiwork and carry on the tradition. Also making puzzle pieces with a magnetic strip on the back is a fun way to add a one dollar item to the kitchen fridge for some fun!
I love collecting rocks and this is the perfect way to turn those treasures into some fun time to share with the little ones. Actually this is even a great activity for all ages from preschool to teens and even a great project for Seniors in the activity room. Love this little guy!
I love this idea for a button snake. Simple felt sqares and the elastic or ribbon is knotted at one end and a button of appropriate size is attached to the other end to thread through the felt squares. Perfect for carrying in a zip lock bag for trips, church or appointments!
