Here in the alley behind my home is my new 25.00 camper. Yes it is a vintage 1968 Holiday Rambler Vacationer. Oh boy! It is a project and I am so excited to get this finished by the end of the year. I am going to paint the outside red white and olive green. All nostalgic for the era. The inside will be shabby and diner style.
Talk about a hold on a dream, I blogged last in this area 6 months ago. I spent the spring time cleaning the house, and getting the yard finished. Last night I was out mowing, and enjoying the evening with the neighbors and bam! WoW! The truck came rolling down the road and trailing it was lo and behold a vintage camper that needs some love and alot of scrubbing. I seen it and I literally knew right away that this was my dream and I immediately started thinking of colors and designs and where I will go and what I will do. I am thrilled and excited and blessed that something I put out in a dream came to me the way that it did. So not it is time to rejoice and delight in the desires of my heart! YAY!
I love the gypsy farm girl and her life is amazing! I am going to share the etsy store info..... love this holiday idea!
Oh my dream is starting to unfold, the dream of building or remodeling an old camper and turning into into my wonderful little Glamper. A glamper is a camper that is decorated with touches of glamour. Vintage glam, Hollywood glam, Modern glam, Shabby Chic, these are all examples of decorating styles being adorned on these cute, cozy little campers.
I am busy collecting all of the ideas that I can to get my glamerous glamper on the road.
I will be posting often the ideas and photo's that I collect. Do you camp or glamp? :)
